About Me
My background
Art is part of me, and always has been. I studied illustration at Massachusetts College of Art, graduating with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. Painting for myself took a backseat to raising four children, but became a therapeutic outlet as they grew older. My best work time is usually early morning, in a quiet house, with a cup of coffee.
My experience
The expression of emotions through a visual medium is a powerful tool. It can convey different ideas to different people based on their own experiences. The works I cherish the most have deep meanings to me, helped me to celebrate or grieve, and create a space for my feelings when words aren't enough.
My vision
My work is simple, but heart felt. It is based on the natural subjects that I enjoy and find comfort in. It is an honor to be asked to create a meaningful image for another, an my hope is to provide joy or comfort to them.
